Welcome to O’Brien Family Farms. We are a diversified company that engages in both the retail and wholesale agricultural operations. Our family owned and operated company is headquartered in Bradenton, Florida. Our family has been in the agriculture industry since 1946, and have operated our own companies since 1974. The O’Brien Family of Companies consists of our wholesale company, C & D Fruit and Vegetable Company, and our retail company, O’Brien Family Farms.
Farm Stand & Educational Center
O’Brien Family Farms row crop acreage consists of yellow squash, Florida sweet onions, golden zucchini, zucchini, melons, cucumbers, sunflowers, eggplant, tomatoes and specialty peppers such as cubanelles, poblanos, jalapenos, banana peppers and more. Our row crops are hand-picked daily and sold in the produce section of the O’Brien Family Farms farm stand.
U-Pick It
O’Brien Family Farms u-pick operation is open to the public every day that the farm stand is open. Our u-pick operation consists of over 56,000 plants!
